I’m going to think about watching this moment unfold in real time for a long time.

for all the horrors coming out of Chicago and its metro area, the principled courage of everyday people, in the face of such intimidation, never ceases to astonish. www.chicagotribune.com/2025/11/12/k...

Momentum is a real thing.

Democrats finally had some, after massive turnouts for #NoKings and resounding wins in both red and blue states last week.

The majority of the country, rightfully so, held Trump and the GOP accountable for the government shutdown.

He has failed so many times. Trump, and Thune even, run circles around him. And this when voters said they love Democrats that are strongly standing up for American values of compassion against the cruelty of Republicans.
Call a Senator that voted no tonight and demand that they vote to remove Chuck Schumer as Senate Minority Leader.

He has weaponized his incompetence against the American people by allowing 8 Dem Senators to cave to an authoritarian regime. We need real leadership, not the oligarchy’s lapdog
Schumer can be removed from his Dem leadership role this week - 23 Dems (and/or independents) just have to vote to depose him

And they should, given this is his fault.

We should be doing this for affordability and the climate.

Australia's extensive solar power penetration makes so much energy that the government wants to offer free electricity at peak hours.

Excessive force. PERIOD!

They called them “violent mobs,” but the violence came from the guys with badges and body armor.

Did I hear that Speaker Johnson has demanded women Republican House members go right away, while they are in a long vacation, to London to lobby for a pardon for former Prince Andrew after President’s comment that it is such a shame that Andrew lost his royalty privileges?

By the end of this week if he has not been asked that question by interviewers from any news media, cable or otherwise, the network should be boycotted. He gets away with so much because of lack of journalistic integrity.
it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"

Scroll down to see map where you can see Trump’s disapproval ratings in each state. He is under water in all swing states and even Texas. Republicans are counting on no election in 2026, I think. www.newsweek.com/map-shows-do...

Now, nearly a month later Spotify is seeing major losses.

And we can do ever BETTER. 👏👏👏

But cancel Thanks for millions of people. Make sure Christmas is bleak. The land of the free and the home of corporate parasites.

So many countries around the world that have so much better healthcare, at so little or no cost. We could model our plan on what they do. You know, call it Heathcare For All. Has anyone asked Speaker Johnson or any Republican about these plans. Are we happy yet?
My friend Anna-Lena lives in Sweden. She came to the United States when she was 19. She stayed for a few years then moved back to her home. She & her husband live the life of Riley in Sweden and can afford trips around the world every year. She feels sorry for the American people.

And plastic is never truly recycled. The real word that describes what happens to a small proportion of it is “repurposed”. So more plastic is needed. We are losing this battle.
#ResistanceEarth

It's easy to think of plastic as temporary, but it takes forever to break down. A new study finds that 10% of the plastic floating on the ocean surface will be there after 100 years, breaking down and releasing harmful microplastics into the water.

SO much we can learn about the way the rich live and try to control things from getting access to All of the Epstein files.
Turns out the sweetheart deal that Trump's former Labor Secretary Alex Acosta gave Epstein back in 2008 was even worse than we thought. Epstein's emails show Acosta tanked an investigation that had Epstein dead to rights on money laundering, and other financial crimes.
🚨 EXPLOSIVE NEW investigation: We uncovered previously undisclosed details about an 18-month money laundering investigation into Jeffrey Epstein that took place alongside the 2007 sex crimes probe, according to emails obtained from Epstein's personal Yahoo account
