Currently Republicans own 59% of the Texas House. Trump won just 56% of Texas in 2024. Yet, currently 68% of Texas’ US Reps are Republican. And this gerrymandering now gives them 81% of the US Reps from our state. If you support this redistricting, you must really hate Democracy.

First, they said Berenstein Bears were actually “Berenstain,” and we said, “No, I know what I heard.” Then they tried to gaslight us that Ed McMahon wasn’t on all those Publisher’s Clearinghouse commercials and we shouted “we know what we saw!” Don’t let them just erase parts of the Constitution.

“But Biden had the Epstein files and didn’t release them” is a deflection. The only question that matters is “should they be released or not?” For people who actually care about protecting children, that should be an easy answer. Then we will sort out who hid what and for whom.

I’m sorry, we’ve spent the last five years listening to them talk ad nauseam about every single conspiracy theory under the sun - many of which have driven actual. detrimental. policies - but now they suddenly just take big government’s word for it and tell us all to move on? No.

Having TDS is like having the Shining. To the casual observer it might look like we just obsessively hate Trump. But we actually hate seeing the future, constantly warning everyone, and being right.

Worries of fascism aside, the irony hasn’t escaped me that, to please those who hate the idea of government spending money on immigrants, Trump just spent 800 billion on Immigrants. And paid for it by removing funding for benefits for Americans. 🙃

I have obtained new nonpublic data from ICE that shows that 2/3 of the people it had booked into detention facilities this fiscal year had no criminal convictions at all. Less than 7% have violent convictions. Most convictions were for immigration, traffic, and vice offenses.

I wish “Make America Great Again” meant returning to a time when people were shocked to see a Senator tackled, people disappeared to a foreign prison, violent criminals pardoned, a President grifting, a felon winning a primary, or a candidate making fun of a person’s disability.

With all of the people pretending to be cops and then robbing or assassinating people, are we able to resist arrest out of self-defense until they properly identify themselves as officers? Are we able as citizens to prevent someone else’s kidnapping without a warrant? What’s legal?

This past October I had the privilege to attend an 80th anniversary Liberation parade in France. The French people of Bruyères gathered to honor the sacrifice of the American soldiers who gave their lives to stop Fascism and bring freedom. Now THAT was a parade to be proud of.

Has anyone investigated how many of the people pardoned for January 6th are now working for ICE? Also, how many in ICE have previous affiliations with militias?

Apparently the 2nd Amendment was only there to protect the other Amendments until they could put someone in place who could do away with the other Amendments.
