really terrific. looks incredible, a major evolution from the anime series that genuinely feels cinematic. There’s no way you could accuse this of being an extended episode of the series. As deliciously psychosexual as the rest of the series, too.

I see this in more amateur film reviews now and then: "Subjectively, I loved it. But in my head, I get that it has flaws." I think that's a fundamentally dishonest way to engage with art. If you're moved by something, it worked on you.
