So anyways…

You know how “Last Door” is the UCP’s most favorite recovery group ever?

Looks like their former employee who they allegedly tried to cover up for by deleting complaints from victims got sentenced to 3 years for sexual assault.

Edmonton has had a disturbingly high number of frostbite amputations the last two winters. With freezing temps on the way, both the City and the Government of Alberta must do more to prevent people from freezing in the cold. edmontonjournal.com/opinion/colu... #ableg #yegcc
Opinion: Edmonton doesn't have to be the frostbite capital of the world
Severe frostbite injuries are entirely preventable - together, let’s work towards a city where no one gets left out in the cold.

Let's be clear about one thing in my UCP run Alberta.

When elected officials make decisions to invoke the notwithstanding clause and remove charter rights (like the right to strike) that's our idea of democracy.

No one should be allowed to challenge that.

Province says they are ready to bargain, but in reality refuse to have key bargaining issues at the table.

A 98% strike mandate for the nurses is historic on its own. Now consider that they voted this way even after seeing the government clobber the teachers with Bill 2.

With Smith deploying the notwithstanding clause on one front & setting up more…

We asked @duanebratt.bsky.social at our live show for his assessment & whether or not Alberta is becoming more and more authoritarian.

His answer should be required for all Albertans!

Not even hiding the blatant entitlement anymore.

The Premier's Office continues to remove all checks and balances on its power.

The courts, the legislature, the Auditor General, independent agencies, the federal government, voters and candidates they don't like...

This is getting ridiculous.

$3812.

That’s what it cost our family for my wife to be on strike for the past 3 weeks. We’re lucky. We can afford it. But knowing that after all that time and money, the only thing that’s changed is she and 50K of her fellow teachers have fewer rights than they did before? It doesn’t feel great.
