The money held back (as taxes) are the dollars that the players gave for a chance to win (gov wins instead). Looks like we could create our own Insurance pools via lottery payments like this thanks to the many contributors.

We need to keep the finances of the United States separate from its elected politicians. They were not elected to play games or to hold us hostage. They sure can't balance a budget.

Shut it down over this. Change your mind. Cancel your vote.

Shut it Down. Shut it Down. Shut it Down. Shut it Down.

We've got many reasons to just Shut it Down.
Making fun of our neighborhoods and communities is disgusting.

Greg Bovino and his masked agents are not here to make Chicago safer. As children are tear gassed and U.S. citizens detained, they are posing for photo ops and producing reality TV moments. blockclubchicago.org/2025/11/10/b...
Border Patrol Agents Pose At The Bean For Apparent Photo Op
The photo op came after agents tear-gassed a Little Village street and were spotted in the area numerous times. At the Bean, one agent shouted, "Everyone say, 'Little Village!'"

Also, $10,000 to bus drivers, crossing-guards, and busboys for distinguished service to our corporations of America who keep us safe from - you know - "the others."
The President wouldn't last five minutes as an air traffic controller, and after everything they've been through - and the way this administration has treated them from Day One - he has no business shitting on them now.

Once they were in the shutdown though they could have made it about anything. Put clips of ICE abducting children on endless loop and say “do we keep funding a govt that does *that*?” Then you might get federal workers clamoring not for concessions but a strike.

Again, requires believing in things.
This was a doomed exercise from the outset. They picked a fight to give the GOP something they thought they would want anyway, and have now been embarrassed into capitulating on even that. Beyond pathetic.

Pardoning your co-conspirators to own the libs!

Most of their charges are state charges, so this doesn’t actually help them. It’s gross, but it doesn’t really move the needle.

how much money can you raise.

And then those already elected by corporate money, give their endorsement to others who will bend over for corporate money.

Insurgency is EXTREMELY hard because Dem primary voters don’t want insurgency.

If we want to change the party, CHANGE THE PRIMAY ELECTORATE!

Let the airline corporations suffer losses. That may be the ONLY way they start putting pressure on the GOP to end their fuckery. I don’t give a damn that Delta had cancellations & delays today. Corporate America needs to suffer like the rest of America. At least they will eat & have healthcare.

I'm in Florida, and the biggest story on the local news is the state attorney general trying to cancel a drag Christmas show. This is why people hate politicians and don't trust the media. Forty million Americans are staring down starvation, and this is what they're talking about? Come the fuck on.

Australia has so much electricity from solar power that it is going to start offering free electricity to everyone for at least three hours during the day as the wholesale price of power goes negative.

Also Trump: Argentina gets $40 Billion, and I get a new ballroom…oh, and did you see Kristi Noem’s new jets?

Australia has so much solar that it's offering everyone free electricity
Australia's extensive solar power penetration makes so much energy that the government wants to offer free electricity at peak hours.
