Anyone in the Newcastle area who is intrigued by philosophy is welcome to an event on Jan 18th, 3pm, at Trinity Church in Gosforth (Tyne Hall). A panel of Newcastle Philosophy Society members will (including yours truly) will address a wide range of subjects from diverse perspectives.All welcome.

Honoured to find I was mentioned by name in the 1983 Special Branch Report "Political Extremism and the Campaign for Police Accountability" tinyurl.com/ep2xj5ce. It says I was "associated with Radical Alternatives to Prison" before working for INQUEST. Very subversive!

As expected... but what it doesn't tell you is that Cellmark was in such a tight financial spot it feared losing its accreditation, and the Competition and Markets Authority cleared the deal because otherwise Cellmark would exit the market.
