[Hershel finds himself alone. Ma left him to sleep. he 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴 that was Ma, though he’s not entirely sure. he’s not sure of a lot of things.

he’s not sure where he is. the room is dark and unfamiliar.

[the human body typically does not begin dreaming until 90 minutes into sleep.

that does not seem to be the case for Hershel.

dreams are frequent and random and jumbled. The Hound can tell this latest one puts them on thin ice, as it’s accompanied by a great sense of unease.

Ah ha! Found the journal I—we?—have been using! It seems to be an old, mostly empty notebook of Flora’s that she never got around to using. I hope she doesn’t mind. She’s been exceedingly patient with me thus far.
