Happiness is an empty beach, the wind in your ears, your best friend by your side, and 0/8 feet on the ground.

Follow up post showing the bag is opened and an insipid horror vaguely resembling a Twistie in shape that instead is an anemic, washed out, pink-tinged abomination that is unworthy of the name.

And I can confidently report that my original tweet was correct: these are just as horrible as you might have expected.

The Twistie is a noble treat that never deserved such disrespect. They should have called them TwistX.

One of the very few joys in buying a new car is to see them assume I’m the key negotiator and ignore my dangerously intelligent and much more capable wife, and then for me to sit back and watch her reduce them to a deconstructed state. She takes no prisoners, and no optional rustproofing for her…!

First we had Miles, then we added his younger half-brother Eddie, then my heart broke into a million tiny jagged pieces that still cut when I least expect it, and now we just have Eddie.

Fixed it! Steps:

Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > set to on and ensure CarPlay is enabled.

I also forced CarPlay and Bluetooth to forget the car, and did a restart of phone before connecting by cable. Not sure if those were necessary. It then connected and worked normally.
