A nickel for your thoughts is how we go.

He says there’s no inflation and prices are better under Trump.

I know there’s a lot of inflationeering that makes this false, but look at what The Man is doing.

You’ve met one dumbass motherfucker, you’ve met them all.
This is far worse than anyone expected.

Trump's HUD plan would cut *two-thirds* of permanent housing and push as many as 170,000 formerly homeless people back onto the street—redirecting funds to work mandates, forced treatment, and encampment sweeps.

All as mass internment camps are being built.

I mean it’ll be interesting if it happens, but please remember the Republicans are fucking people over hard. You; if not you, then your neighbor; if not your neighbor, then your friend. They are in charge of workshopping how hard they can fuck you, and they will fuck you, if they haven’t already.
The White House confirms Trump officials tried to convince Lauren Boebert today to drop her support for the Epstein files discharge petition.

Once Adelita Grijalva is sworn in this afternoon, majority support will be reached on that discharge petition in the House.

Of all the things* I do where I worry about ripping off the Omnipod before it’s done, I did not have “working at the wine shop” on the list. (Currently held on with tape, and ought to make it to expiration in ~24 hours.)

If any of the Democrat brain trust should want to know why people are leaving the Democrats and trucking the fuck to the left, the last 48 hours have been an abjectly instructional exercise in what Democrats do wrong. Capitulate on healthcare, puritanical CBD politics, and Chuck Fucking Schumer.

Tim Kaine on backlash he's getting: "I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct 1, b/c I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed fed worker would say to me at church, or what somebody would say about SNAP"

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!
