And the outpouring of support from students and community members (not to mention their own incredible organising efforts) proves that the world is on our side.

We are the university. And if this administration refuses to back down, we will show you exactly what that means.

Industrial Emissions Directive (IED), previously watered down just last year, is among the slash list.

@ec.europa.eu is dangerously backtracking on democratically agreed rules to support industries producing green European steel, chemicals and cement.

This is not helping the European economy.

When nature loses, we all lose.

Environmental laws need no fixing. They need enforcing.

Protect the rules that protect us.

Let's be clear: Environmental Omnibus weakens the rules set to keep us safe, our air breathable, our water clean and our nature alive.

The decision is heavily stained with fingerprints from the industry lobbyists.

Unfortunately, nature cannot buy such a political influence.

We all desperately want to clear the courts backlog seeing victims withdraw from the criminal justice process.

But the backlog was caused by chronic underfunding, not juries.

Restricting jury trials would undermine our democracy and right to a fair trial, and may even be a false economy.

CAMPAIGN WIN 🎉

The UK is withdrawing funding from a massive gas power plant in Mozambique. Funding this carbon bomb would have been a climate and human rights disaster. Thanks to campaigners keeping up the pressure, today we can celebrate this huge win
